BTW Childerz...what was our bet for....I feel safe saying that Minn will not reach that 6 win plateau but I don't recall what the bet parameters were.

Explain to me why fans are so enamored with having a high draft pick...Is there any evidence that the 5th pick has outperformed the 15th draft picks over the last 30 years?

Minnesota had 3 first rounders this year to add to a (suspect) playoff team. How's that working out? Carolina got Cam at 1 but has been a midround drafter the last two years and got the DROY and Star Lotulelei. I just don't get the tank mentality so many fans of bad teams extol.

I have one bears ticket left for tonight's game. Who is ready to answer some trivia for it?

I'm so glad that fuckstain isn't on the packers (incognito).  don't you think that these teams that have "so much talent" but still persist to lose have guys like this on the team?  Teams like Mia, Det, Dal come to mind.

The Bills now released Matt Flynn again?

Minnesota's 3 rookies are performing just fine for rookies on a broken team.

Minnesota's issue is not on the field talent (part of it is) its about the Players and the lost respect for probably each other and the coaches behind the scenes.. its about our Offensive line not being able to block jack shit... its about our QB when having a chance to throw to an open receiver either throws and INT or runs the ball....

.

Minnesota drafted well 2 years in a row now... I simply believe they were the victims of early season collapses that completely changed their season perspective.

the only time tanking pays is if you are in the market for a franchise QB.

Drafting high is not a guarantee you get one, but it is your best chance.

Tell Datone that the answer is 42.  See if he can figure out the question.

the teams that win don't necessarily have the most talent.... their locker rooms are united.

robertj72

Id like to see that...because I doubt that outright. I bet if you took the top 10 versus the 11-20 you would have an equal number of studs and duds just at a slightly different pay grade

robertj72

Carolina started 1-3 with heartbreakers...that is no excuse for what Minnesota has become this year.

robertj72

I can see this...but if you need a QB most likely you don't have to tank to get an early pick.

Green Bay has some of the best depth in the league and they draft late every year. It's about having a strong front-office and scouting department.

OK...buit as long as you are hoping for a high draft pick you should as least scan the past names in drafts and see if it has really been better to be 5th than 12th just so you know if that is something to hope for.

robertj72
robertj72

I wish I had the time to do that this week....I have so many on the burner...why don't you take it.
