The NFC South will get things started in style as the Saints and Falcons square off in week one.

With the release of the 2013 NFL schedule finally happening, we are now free to count our team’s numerous wins and project voluminous losses for our pathetic division rivals.  Here are the schedules all four NFC South teams will face this year, along with a brief analysis of what fans of each team have to look forward to.

Week Atlanta Falcons Carolina Panthers New Orleans Saints Tampa Bay Buccaneers
1 at New Orleans Seattle Atlanta at New York Jets
2 St. Louis at Buffalo at Tampa Bay New Orleans
3 at Miami New York Giants Arizona at New England
4 New England bye Miami Arizona
5 at New York Jets at Arizona at Chicago bye
6 bye at Minnesota at New England Philadelphia
7 Tampa Bay St. Louis bye at Atlanta
8 at Arizona at Tampa Bay Buffalo Carolina
9 at Caroilna Atlanta at New York Jets at Seattle
10 Seattle at San Francisco Dallas Miami
11 at Tampa Bay New England San Francisco Atlanta
12 New Orleans at Miami at Atlanta at Detroit

14 at Green Bay at New Orleans Carolina Buffalo
15 Washington New York Jets St. Louis San Francisco
16 at San Francisco New Orleans Carolina at St. Louis
17 Carolina at Atlanta Tampa Bay at New Orleans
A week fourteen visit to Green Bay will be a tough road test for the Falcons.

A Week 14 visit to Green Bay will be a tough road test for the Atlanta Falcons.

Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta’s season starts with a bang in Week 1, as they go on the road to face division-rival New Orleans Saints. Overall, the schedule does not appear to be too terrible, as their opponents posted a 2012 record right around .500 (128-126-2).

The Falcons’ popularity is evident from their five primetime games, which will be played against the New England Patriots, New York Jets, Saints, Green Bay Packers, and San Francisco 49ers.  Thursday Night games have historically been very kind to the host time, so no doubt Atlanta is licking its chops for its Week 12 match-up against the Saints.

The three-game stretch beginning in Week 14 — at Green Bay, vs. Washington, and at San Francisco –looks to be especially difficult and could go a long way towards determining their playoff hopes.

Carolina Panthers

The Panthers have the most difficult schedule in the NFL, at least based on 2012 records; their 2013 opponents compiled an impressive 138-116-2 mark in 2012.  Their slate is bookended by extremely tough games (vs. Seattle and at Atlanta) and has plenty of formidable opponents in between.

A three-game stretch starting in Week 9 that pits them against Atlanta, San Francisco, and New England should be particularly challenging, although they do get two of those games at home.  The Panthers will have two primetime games, including a Thursday night road contest (always difficult) at Tampa Bay in Week 8.

All four NFC South teams will get a shot at Colin Kaepernick and the defending NFC champion San Francisco 49ers.

New Orleans Saints

After finishing with a disappointing 7-9 record last year, the New Orleans Saints were probably hoping for a reprieve in 2013. They will not be getting one.

Not only are they facing the league’s second-hardest schedule (137-117-2 in 2012), but they have to contend with several of their strongest opponents on the road: Chicago Bears in Week 5, Seattle Seahawks in Week 13, and St. Louis Rams in Week 15. Moreover, they open the season with two consecutive divisional opponents, including a Week 1 match against the Atlanta Falcons, who went to the NFC Championship Game last year. To add insult to injury, New Orleans closes out their season with a punishing gauntlet of divisional games, playing the Carolina Panthers twice in two weeks and finishing up with the Buccaneers.

They will be featured on four primetime slots this year: against the Miami Dolphins in Week 4, Dallas Cowboys in Week 10, Falcons in Week 12, and Seahawks. The Saints have their work cut out for them in their quest to return to championship form.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

For a team like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that finished below .500 last year, it’s probably a relief to be facing a middle-of-the-road strength of schedule (127-127-1) in 2013.

Still, it is not going to be an easy path back to the playoffs. With an early Week 5 bye, they will be facing a long stretch to close out the season. Even worse, the Bucs must go on the road to play several of their most formidable opponents, including the Atlanta Falcons (Week 7), Seattle Seahawks (Week 9), the St. Louis Rams (Week 16). Fortunately for them, they host the San Francisco 49ers in Week 15.

Tampa Bay also faces a pair of two-week road stands later in the season as they go against the Detroit Lions and Carolina Panthers in Weeks 12 and 13, finishing up at St. Louis and at New Orleans in Weeks 16 and 17. Two primetime games are on the slate, including a Thursday Night home game against Carolina and a Monday Night match-up against the Miami Dolphins.

Conclusion

they are young, stupid and foreign. Anything suspicious would tip off authorities. They probably want to go out in a shoot out anyway.

In planning this they probably already conceded their lives. Perhaps they just wanted to cause more mayhem in Boston before being brought down.

I'm still thinking about the image of that sexy water cooler form yesterday. I've gone back and looked at the bigger pic a few times just because the small one is not doing enough for me.

The stain is easy, it's removing it that's the tricky part.

Thought: don't sit right next to an open-barred cage containing a smartass, semi-aggressive animal with grasping hands.
