The Maized Friday Mailbag Returns!

That’s right! The Mustachio’d Mailbag is back and better than ever!

Maized Mailbag’s glorious return

After a long hiatus due mainly to laziness and a lack of mustache shampoo, I will be reviving the old weekly Maized Friday Mailbag next week. There, there, curb your enthusiasm. We don’t want anyone going to the hospital.

Veterans of WCSN know the drill. You newcomers can ask the silverbacks to clue you in. Ask me anything your little hearts desire — preferably football related, but any question will do.

Want an opinion on your team’s latest trade? Think your current defensive coordinator should be fired? Want to know where Ted Thompson buys his coffins? Well, fire me off a note and let me know what you thinking. All of these and more can be answered in the next edition of the Maized Friday Mailbag.

Remember, this series is completely dependent on your participation, so don’t be afraid to ask early and ask often. The first installment of the new series will be posted Friday, April 19th, so be sure to get your emails in before then!

To submit a comment or question — or to otherwise contribute to the Mailbag — drop me a line at . Please include “Maized Mailbag” in the subject line so I don’t accidentally overlook your message.

"the Bears have signed offensive tackle, OT , offensive guard , slimy OG , OG , and blocking tight end  to help bolster their line"

Wow, I didn't know they had signed Lance Louis and Chris Spencer.  How can "professional" publications get away with this shit?

Is that a new position, 'slimy offensive guard'

The new coach  is trying to resolve the main issues with the Bears, kudos for that!

Michael Wright of ESPNChicago, regraded Chicago's 2012 draft.

I think he was a little hard on McCleellin. The guy came in undersized. Everybody knew he would need to beef up. I think he did well for a rookie, and I am expecting better performance this year.

He's right about Harden. The guy had injury concerns, and did nothing to dispel that.

I think grading any draft immediately is stupid.  It's equally stupid after just one year.  Ask me again in two years and I'll tell you how Emery did.

I have been trying to make that point on ESPN. Give a class 3 years. Unless you're a top 10 pick, you are typically not expected to contribute immediately.

Hell, 5 years ago any top prospect qb, was gonna sit out the gate, unless the team just had to throw him in the fire immediately..

but overall I wasn't too thrilled with last years' draft at the time, and I'm still not that optimistic.  The Harden pick in round three didn't make much sense, neither did the 2 CBs in rounds 6 and 7.  The only pick I really loved was Jeffery.

i think it's fair, he had injury issues in college and missed 2 games, plus made minimal impact at all, and the review of Jeffery was a bit light as well, he missed half the year with injury and was a relative non-factor after coming back

Let's not forget that Shea McClellin grew up on Chicken Dinner Road. That's worth at least half a grade in the draft.

i wouldn't recommend doing that though.  its not hard to learn once you get used to it.  besides you have to learn it either way since thats the way its moving.

  FUCK THAT

What the hell are you going to get out of "learning" it?  Its not like its hard now, its just FUCKING RETARDED!

I, and most people, have NO use, for a touchscreen desktop!  There is no use in logging into the start screen, and then just having to click desktop anyway.  All these options do is add a start button, to make it faster to do what you want, and load you right into the desktop.

Might I add, FUCK YOU MICROSOFT, if I wanted a piece of shit apple, I would have gotten a piece of shit apple.

I agree on all counts.  try being a guy like me that works IT and when shit like this comes out you get forced to shove it down people's throats and have to train everyone and work through the bitching.
